We attended our first show at TICA in Milton Keynes – The first official tower sale was an Igloo Tigga to a lovely customer Maria Bryant of Migatobonito Maine Coons. 

The tower is still going strong.

Our Bedding range launched with our now synonymous non looped fabric in cream & chocolate colours. This is produced in a family run factory in Europe.

Our first Granite Bases arrived from Croatia. The extra weight meant towers could grow up in height and remain completely stable with no need for wall or ceiling fixings. Our confidence in our sisal scratching posts allowed us to offer a 1 yr guarantee – Did you know that 

has now been extended to 2 yrs!

The removable system was designed to stop cave and hideaway beds collapsing when pets landed on them. This also meant washing 

beds was much easier.  

Lizanne joins the family business full time behind the scenes running the office and stock ordering. Occasionally we let her out of the office for larger events of course 😊. She is also the designer of many of our award winning products, including Pet Quip finalist for our 

double doughnut bed range.

Whilst the team did not win the challenge it certainly created a talking point amongst pet lovers about how much you would spend on 

your cat or dog.

But most important of all, he was dad to us. After an 18-month battle with cancer we said goodbye, but he leaves a legacy of bespoke towers around the world with Skyfall his final creation showcasing at the Supreme Cat Show 2015.

After lengthy discussions I decided it was not the right time to appear on dragons den, having lost our Father less than 6 months previously. Who knows perhaps one day we might pop up.

 Josie the youngest joined the team after finishing her Masters. Bringing youth and social media knowledge we began to create a platform 

online with live launches and events.

We held a warehouse stock clearance sale with a open house in January. In the first hour we crashed both our email systems and phone lines with over 500 calls. The team worked flat out and made sure every customer was contacted to take their order.

We also won Twitter’s #SmallBusinessSunday run by Theo Paphitis.

We celebrated with the launch of a non extendable Cat Tree. The Tower in a Box. Complete with 2 yr guarantee on construction this sold to over 10 different countries in the first 6 months.

Until March 2020 Tigga Towers was an events-based business built from Pet / Cat shows and Crufts. Due to the pandemic we held our first online Pet shopping weekend, multi streaming to 4 platforms with guests and companies joining us from all over the world. 

2021 - Now we are 100% online and looking to the future which we know will be bright. We have lots of plans, ideas and the opening of our warehouse in September to look forward to. 

Oh and our Founder – Sam turns 50 this December too! Shhhh lol
